HI, I'M ANNETTE!

I have a unique relationship with each of my paintings. They are a physical communion with the strange, the spiritual, and the otherworldliness of beauty. I'm spoken to visually, and I respond visually, unconstrained and harmonious, in an expression like worship. I believe when beauty strikes the spirit, we draw closer to things of eternal significance. In shadowing the transcendent, and creating from it, things which exist presently, my work departs its context in pursuit of an abiding reality.

​I dream that each painting I make will last generations, which is why all of my works are made with archival and museum-grade materials. It’s my pride to see that small moments of beauty, however simple, are captured with reverence and care.
